Big cats painting

After a few months of not painting, i thought continuing on my tiger painting would be a perfect step a head . This begun working on it in june and stopped due to my other work.This painting was to help me learn more about painting big cats and what techiniques i can use , the difference with fur, color. Self teaching is not something easy to do but you have to have patience and time to learn it. I think am using a lot of time to build up the layers ,depth , toning and finding the right colors. Am hoping for the best results but still have a long way to go.
